There is no D: for Linux, and the C: as you know it is /dev/hda1 

so do :

[EMAIL PROTECTED] root] # mkdir /mnt/windows
[EMAIL PROTECTED] root] # mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/windows

Perhaps you like to do : 
[EMAIL PROTECTED] root] # mkdir /mnt/windows && echo "/dev/hda1
/mnt/windows auto ro 0 0" >> /etc/fstab
