First thanks to Dileep, for help me in NAT iptables, I have some confusion that I try to configure NAT, I don�t know I am doing right or wrong configuration, I give you a detail as below :-
i) I am testing in three computers one is Linux & others in windows software what I using for testing mIRC & IRC, if I successfully run these software than it will run in cyber cafes etc.
ii) I have dial up line but not static IP from ISP every time its change. For exmple: 202.5.152.32, 202.5.152.254, 202.5.152.280
iii) I am using 192.168.1.1/24 for server & 1.2.3.4 for ISP, configuration as below.
(First I try this)
modprobe iptable_nat
iptables �t nat �A POSTROUTING �o ppp0 �j MASQUERADE
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forword
iptables �t nat �A POSTROUTING �p tcp �o eth0 �j SNAT �to 1.2.3.4:1080
iptables �t nat �A PREROUTING -p tcp �dport 1080 �I eth0 �j DNAT �to 1.2.3.4:1080
(Second I try this)
modprobe iptable_nat
modprobe ip_conntrack_irc
iptables �t nat �A POSTROUTING �o ppp0 �j MASQUERADE
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forword
iptables �t nat �A POSTROUTING �p tcp �o ppp0 �j SNAT �to 1.2.3.4:1080
iptables �t nat �A POSTROUTING �o eth0 �j SNAT �to 192.168.1.1
iptables �t nat �A PREROUTING -p tcp -i ppp0 �j DNAT �to �d 1.2.3.4:1080
iptables �t nat �A PREROUTING -p tcp -i eth0 -d 192.168.1.1 �dport 1080 �j DNAT �to �d 192.168.1.1:1080
if there is some thing wrong please indicate me & help me to solve.
