Hi,
I have a network card on a server which has a Public and a private IP Address.(eth0:0) There is one more office connected via VPN At a time there is only one default gateway present - by default. From the other office, we are not able to the server through VPN using the private IP Address.
I also tried adding the route for private IP Address manually. But that also did not help.
How can we connect to the private IP using VPN ?
Or , how can there be two default gateways, one fro the public and one for teh virtual address
i.e eth0:0
Please help
Ok, will try.
You problem seems to be of using source based routing.
BTW, how is the VPN setup? How are you sure that it is working?
Please post more information if you want serious help. Specifically, please post your network config, blacking out the public IP.
