Yes you can if you have the fairly same hardware. If say you have a different processor then since redhat or Mandrake copies the kernel based on the processor, you cant. The partitioning will be a bit of problem, if you have hard disk of different sizes, but still you can by just changing the ks.cfg (Kick start) file to create different partitions based on the hard disk. ks.cfg is completely configurable and i dont know if mandrake provides the method. There is no need to open the box or anything, you can install using nfs and the ks.cfg. Otherwise check out the softwares like partimage (www.partimage.org) or the systemimager mentioned earlier, which(partimage) also has an option for installing the image from network or write into a cd and install from that.
