I though you created the iso with mkisofs.
You need to specify an image file for making iso.
I mean this image file.
But i fail to understand why you need to make an iso image of a cdrom.
Generally cdrom has an iso file system only.

BTW
Another way is to copy the iso image to hard disk and mount it on loop
device without - t option. Then you may able to make changes.
But i am confused...
