try getting old models of nokia (gnokii was originally meant for nokia,
so is gammu). the best supported one by gnokii is 6110. however, i've
used 3530 successfully through gammu's text based interface. i did it
thru a serial cable only. if yu are going for motorola then also keep in
mind how yu are going to connect it to the computer, thru a data cable?
infrared? how?
