hi How do i monitor CPU temperature from Linux, If this is possible, is it possible from any normal motherboard, or any specific configuration or detectors are required
Your motherboard will have to support temperature monitoring. A quick and dirty way to the check is by seeing if these values show up in your BIOS.
Under linux, you can use lm-sensors package for monitoring whatever is monitorable.
