Hi,
A small query on corntab which has got me a bit confused. I use root's
crontab for doing some backup (crontab -e). Now the status of the command
used is reported to the user root by mail. I don't want this. As as matter
of fact, I want no mails at all.
I thought commenting MAILTO=root in /etc/crontab might help. But this
didn't. Does anyone have an idea where the configuration of the same is
kept? man cron mentions this at the end but does not tell how not to
get mails.
Cheers,
Shantanu
