Dear Linux users, I am using PC Quest, and I want to connect to a Windows Network. I have started and run Samba, and doing nmblookup WORKGROUP gives me a set of IP addresses. How do I get the names of these computers? Also, how do I see what files are being shared?
If I try to mount any of these using smbmount and specifying //<IP address>/, I am being asked for a password, even though the resources do not need a password when opened from a Windows computer on the network.
