Can you try adding the keyword "defaultroute" to your /etc/ppp/options file ? (in a line by itself)
defaultroute
I feel it should work... but have never tested it.
Have tried it. Doesnt work always.
PPP refuses to change the defaultroute if one is already in place. The only solution is to run 'ip route del default' before running the dialer.
