I have a whole lot of audio cassettes that I wish to convert to .ogg
files. They are somewhat old but have a lot of sentimental value.
Chip magazine once had a writeup on converting audio cassettes to mp3
using MusicMatch jukebox, a cassette player and an EP to EP cable but I
don't have windows on either of my machines. I know the sound quality
will not match that of files ripped from CD but I'd really like to have
these on my computer.
I have a FC2 install with a working sound card. I usually use abcde to
rip CDs to .ogg and it works very well.
Google gives almost only windows based links.
regards,
Sharukh.
