Also Included in -cko is the Staircase Scheduler by Con Kolivas
http://kernel.kolivas.org
Much simpler than O(1) and offers better interactivity for Desktop
Systems.

Plus, there's the CFQ (Completely Fair Queuing )Block I/O Scheduler by
Jens Axboe.
The latest version of which supports Write I/O Priorities.

On the whole the -cko patchset is great for Desktop Systems.
Another alternative is the -nitro patchset.

-cko is used in Yoper Linux, (claims to be ) the fastest Linux Distro !!

Toufeeq Hussain
