Hello Thomas, I think you could use PHP-MySQL-Apache combination to accomplish your requirement. I am not aware of any ready made package targeted at discussion forum. Though there is a software called Wordpress [ http://wordpress.org/ ] which is based on PHP-MySQL-Apache combination which after some tweaking of the code could be used for your purpose. Note: Wordpress is actually a package directed at hosting blogs and not a discussion forum.
