You could get Fedora Core 3 and Mandrake 10.1 DVDs from back issues of Linux 
For You. The February 2005 issue of LFY carried with it Mandrake 10.1 
download edition in a DVD. In my opinion Mandrake is the best bet for someone 
new. It is easy to install and use.
