Hi,
I am looking for converters to convert ISCII (Devanagari and Kannada)
data to UTF-8. I have come across two possible candidates:
1. recode. Does a decent job of converting between many western
(single byte?) encodings. Can't see support for ISCII.
2. icu. Seems to have the capabality I am looking for. But semms too complex.
If I do not hear of anything else, I will probably poke further into icu.
