I am glad it worked for you with a little tweak.  Interesting, that the
XServer detects the digital to analog converter.  My LCD panel has
DVI/DB15 connectors that I have connected to the video card DVI/DB15
connectors so I did not run into any problems.

Dual heads to me mean two *separate* independent video outs.  I did not
come across configuring "twin view" in SuSE.  In the combo DVI/DB15
card, the output content is the same; only in different formats
Digital/Analog resp.

No. what you see on DVI port also appears on the Analog port.
