I didn't see anyone else posting this, so here goes...

After several years of exemplary security record, now it appears that
a remotely exploitable vulnerability has been discovered in recent
versions of Sendmail. Some details are here:

http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/834865

Sendmail Inc.'s own advisory is here:

http://www.sendmail.com/company/advisory/

I have seen advisories of Redhat, Debian, Mandriva, Gentoo and others
(eg: FreeBSD has an advisory at
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/CERT/advisories/FreeBSD-SA-06:13.sendmail.asc).
You should upgrade Sendmail asap, even if your installation is not
Internet exposed.
