Hi,

We have a mail server at our california office and there are about 25% of mail users in California and the rest 75% are in india office. We get lot of large mails to some of the aliases. And since most users in the alias are in india and to avoid downloading of the same mail by them we have setup a mailserver in India office and forward a single mail to it and distribute it from there.

This becomes some what difficult to manage users and alias file on both mailservers. Is there a better way of doing this. Also is it possible to configure the mailserver at India in such a way that if a user from India sends mail to an alias, the mails to the users in India should be locally delivered and mail to the users in california should be delivered through mailserver at california. The mail id should be of same format to all users.

We have qmail + ldap at california and sendmail in India.

Your suggestions are welcome.

Thanks
