Hi List,
I have RHEL 4 server. The OS clock is running faster than
hwclock. It is going two hours fast in a day. I hv to sync the OS
clock everyday.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# ls -l /etc/localtime
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 33 May 3 13:09 /etc/localtime ->
/usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Calcutta
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# date
Thu May 4 13:47:24 IST 2006
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# /sbin/hwclock
Thu 04 May 2006 01:30:05 PM IST -0.194479 seconds
Is this problem with kernel or how to fix it.
