hi guyz,
I m trying to setup a DNS server, and i m a bit
confused, coz when I refer to the how-to available, it
gives me a long listing of the file /etc/named.conf,
whereas, the file that i hv has only the following
contents:
// Default named.conf generated by install of
bind-9.3.1-20.FC4
options {
directory "/var/named";
dump-file "/var/named/data/cache_dump.db";
statistics-file
"/var/named/data/named_stats.txt";
};
include "/etc/rndc.key";
Also, the document says abt some roots.hint file, but
i m unable to trace it. Pls help.
