During installation most Linux distros have GRUB does this for you
anyway and include a menu item for Windows if the installer detects a
Windows installation.  

Is this not sufficient for what you want to accomplish i.e. a dual boot
system?  

Why do you want to go through hoops and use the NTloader to dual boot
the system?
