Hi all, My company has some openings for people who are well-skilled with Internet technologies and have at least three years of experience working with web servers and DNS servers, preferably on a wide-area distributed network. The position is in Bangalore. The following are the qualifications and traits a candidate would need to have in order to meet the requirements of this job profile:
QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelors in Computer Science/Engineering, or Masters in science fields. * Experience in engineering, systems administration, engineering support, IT, project management or consulting (3-4 years). * Hands on experience with Linux or Unix with networking exposure. * Experience with unix data manipulation utilities (awk, sed) and regular expressions. * Programming experience (Perl/shell scripting or Java/C preferable). * In depth knowledge of how the Internet works (HTTP, DNS). * Knowledge of common network protocols (TCP/IP) and tools (ping, traceroute). * Knowledge of web programming (HTML, JavaScript, ASP, JSP). * Familiarity with the following: J2EE or .NET, XML Webservices, Databases and Webserver administration. * Strong analytical skills and English verbal and technical writing skills.
