I did search for "DIY Desktop" on google and got overwhelmed by the number of
results it returned.
Basically I am looking for pointers to how to build the ideal desktop. Few
things for which I dont seem to find answers are:
1. How do I calculate SMP required - I am not even sure what all draws power
inside a computer !!
2. How do I figure out which chasis is good for my needs - I dont see much
focus on air flow, number of fan required. Intel says BTX is the recommended
chasis configuration for the latest CPU's but I cant find any chassis optimized
for BTX configuration.
3. I do know the CPU, memory, hard disk, graphics and sound capabilities
required - what else do I need to worry about ?
If anyone has lately given thoughts on these do share the info.
