I'm trying to configure qmail to run on my system running RHL 6.0 (from CHIP
CD).
I have a dialup connection with VSNL. I wanted to configure things in the
following way:
Mails which are meant for local users should be delivered immidiately. The
ones for the outside world should be queued up until the ppp interface comes
up. I was able to queue the mails till the ppp interface comes up by storing
them in a "maildir" and then sending them using the "serialmail" addon. But
the mails which go out have the local user and local hostname in the From:
field. How do i substitute my isp username and domain in these outgoing
mails. This is the only thing that is preventing me from switching to linux
completely. I have to boot into win for my mails.
Can someone please help me.
