Please Help:
Am using postgres 6.5 on rh linux 5.2 machine. I downloaded the Insight
ODBC Drivers and tried to access a postgres database. In Visual Foxpro, am
able to connect, view and make modifications. In VisData, I am unable to see
the data in SqlPassthrough mode but Dynaset and snapshot work well. So no
modification is possible. VFP reports error some times as "ERROR: parse
error at or near char . " There is no chance of parse error as the commands
were generated by VFP (or ODBC Driver?). I think its some problem with
SQLPassthru.
Why so? Please guide me as am new to postgres and these remote
databases. I searched the postgres mailing lists in vain. Could it be
because Office 2K has updated some DAO components in our machines?
