Hi!
I agree! SIS cards are the most difficult to configure! I have spent a hell
lot of time installing it ...and I have found it giving different type of
problems in different m/cs.!
As far as I remember in the PCQuest article on the release of RHL6, they had
mentioned that SIS cards are the only coomon card not supported by Red Hat
owing to it's non-standard interface.
The problem seems to be only with the X-Windows configuration..........rest
it works fine the text mode..
Though there was an apparent solution in a PCQuest article by a venerable
person the linux-india.org, it didn't work out for a LOT of
people............
