I have 33.6 GVC modem. It worked ok for last 18 months. Now it gives some extra sound when line is engaged. I feel the same disturbance occurs while trying to connect also. Hence I don't get connect at all. I unable to reproduce the disturbing sound. It is overlapping over the normal engaged tone. Has anybody faced this type of problem.
