Hi,

Why did I want to install such old stuff? My harddisk with redhat 6 died
couple of days ago. I had little space left on my Windows Partition. So I
just wanted to try the old release for fun. My hardware is not that new too,
about 2 years old. I managed to get around the ramdisk problem by saying
"mount root=/dev/fd0" at boot prompt. But the setup insists I install only
on the dead disk. :-(
The only Partition it shows for installation is /dev/hdc1. But I want to
install it as umsdos. Any help ?

Thanks Venkatesh.

Gautam
