Hi Satya,
will u please elaborate ur project plan? I may help u as far as
device-drivers and kernel-modules are concerned. Take a deeeeep look into
the kernel-modules and symbol-table, before going further into device
driver.
I am definite that directX code won't be emulated by the wine. Please use
OpenGL stuff. A free implementation of openGL is available in LINUX. It is
called 'Mesa'. Tryout. (I have got a news from [EMAIL PROTECTED] that MFC
equivalent is available in Linux, checkout)
Try to learn QT library (as it is available in both Linux and Windows
platforms). I am a satisfied user of QT as I have recently used it as GUI
frontend to my project on Cellular Automata at ISI, Calcutta.
