Thanks Atul and Binand for the suggestion. Now my pop server is O.K (The
commented lines in inetd.conf were uncommented). Now I face another strange
problem. From a pop client I am able to get connected to my pop server
without any probs. But some how I am facing problem while sending mails
using MSOE or Netscape Messenger to the smtp port. Local mails get
delivered. But any mails other than local gets rejected saying "relaying
denied". I can telnet to the mail server and send mails but not from the pop
clients. I presume it to be a problem with my sendmail configuration. Can
any body suggest me the necessary modifications in my sendmail
configuration?
