the pc quest cd is availabe in bangalore .
i just finished ugrading my linux box rh6.0 to rh6.1 using the pc quest cd.
i have nt on hda1 ,95 on hda6 and linux on hda5.
during the installation it never asked to make a boot diskette and also didnt
ask where to place the lilo ( this was asked in RH 6.0)
when it restarted it has taken over the MBR.
well is this done purposefuly ?
is there any way to restore the old mbr ( i dont have a copy of the old mbr)
