Hi, point taken. You are not alone in this fantastic enterprise. On 23 Nov 99, at 23:39, thus spake Jiju Thomas Mathew: > We at a local institution have started to use linux-mySQL-perl, > and have included it in the curriculum. The current rage in Hyderabadi hole in the wall institutes (which generally have a very sharp nose for what's hot and what's not in the job sector) is Linux and Solaris admin. The same guys who used to teach SAP one day, VB the next etc etc have now started Linux and Solaris (with a course in NT admin thrown in, for only Rs.1000 extra <g>) On the higher end - there is a company out here offering Caldera certification - the course, as can be expected, costs a bomb, even though Caldera is admittedly one of the "cutest" and easiest distros of Linux available. Also - MS bashers on this list owe a debt of honor to Caldera I suppose. MS got dumped thanks to a suit filed by, among others, Ray Noorda, the maker of DR-DOS (and Caldera) :-) --s Suresh Ramasubramanian 106D, Aditya Enclave, Ameerpet, Hyderabad 500038, India.
