Hello Linuxers, I tried installing RHL 6.1 from PCQ on my workstation. My network uses DHCP to get IP addr. So I selected DHCP during install (I had given static addr for all the previous install I've done so far). But to my surprise, during the boot and initialization the m/c hang during eth0 initialization. So I had to hard reset :-(( the m/c and start with linux single. To my surprise the dhcp client (dhcpcd)was not at all installed at /sbin. So I guess.. it might be a problem with the installation scripts. I manually installed the dhcpcd rpm from the PCQ cd... then I had to manually modify some script files and config files to get things right (after struggling a couple of hour to grasp the DHCP mini howto) . Is it a problem with the RHL 6.1 or due to some modification done by PCQ?
