i have a n/w of win95 / winnt and one linux m/c. the win NT is the pdc. i
configured samba on the linux m/c- but the connectivityis one way only-
ie, i can connect to all the shared resources of win m/c's thru the linux
m/c (alpha) , but alpha does not appear in the n/w neighborhood of any of
the win m/c's
runninmg testparm gave expected results. part of it as under:
[tmp]
comment = Temporary file space
path = /tmp
read only = No
guest ok = Yes
[alpha]
comment = test share
path = /home/sunny/share
valid users = mary fred sunny guest
read only = No
create mask = 0765
guest ok = Yes
pl help me out.
