sems to be a module version conflict, where the MK in MKroot has ppp in
modules
but the RHL which may have ppp in module, will that of the older kernel.

do you know, i still love kernel 2.0.36 which came with Slackware 3.2 and
have that on
my office machine with SO 5.0, XV, ImageMagik and GS, I am doing Publishing
work [got this with Comdex Linux Installation and Configuration book]
