[LI] how to do CD writing using linux

Hi,
I have Hp CD-writer Plus 8200i,IDE and a RH6.0 machine.
as a default there are no drivers for the linux machine :(

How should i use Linux machine for doing Cd writing for this Cd-writer.
 Is there any good links for howtos of this.
