Has anybody used or is using MySQL. Please help me:
I have installed MySQL-3.22...... from PCQ Nov 99 CD. There were no error
messages during installation of rpm.
Now when I try
mysqladmin -u root password xyz123 (password for root)
it says
mysqladmin: Connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password =NO)'
Where am I wrong
