I have done an installation on Compaq Proliant 1200, Redhat 6.0 did pick
up the cards quite smoothly, I cannot recollect correctly, but I think I
had a similar problem trying to install RH 5.2.

I'm sure RH 6.0 shouldn't be a problem.
