I am not against you signature buddy,
just that it was too long. I too have a signature but only three lines
( And If anyone has problems, i can even trim that ;-)
BTW I have S3 Trio 3D up and running on 86C365 and 86C366
with 1024x768 8-Bit Resolution ( Of couse On my machine I get
whatever Resolution I want as me using FBDev ;-)
So, either you can use FBDev to get your X-Server running or
the standard X-Server for running X-Server.
So, just let me know if you want the X-server xf86config file
( Specify whether you want SVGA config or FBDEV config file )
and I shall send it over.
And remember you don't get acceleration in FBDev.
