I think you cannot span one partition over multiple physical drives in Linux,
but I'm not sure.
Why do you need one 1.5 GB partition anyway ? Why not two partitions of 1 GB
each ?

hi all
i have 3 scsi hdd- 1 gb each, and want to install linux- i want to
dedicate ONE partition of ATLEAST 1500mb root. please tell me ho to
go about doing that- i m stuck at the installation stage itself!! i tried
using diskdriud, it shows the 3 drives (sda, sdb, adc) but is NOT able to
span the partition over different drives (gives error as to insufficient
space). same error is given by fdisk. kindly help, as i NEED to install
RHL 6.0 TODAY!!!!
