It is very possible that Mantra ISDN has leased lines from a first tier
provider like VSNL IT could very well be a fractional T1 theres no telling.
So the ping times you see are dependent on their connectivity and
traffic on their network. Some resellers oversell their bandwith.
with the vsnl you are probably only a couple of hops away as opposed
to mantra.
Are you using both PPP connections simultaneously on one box or do
you have two proxy servers using the two connections ?
