Well,
I maybe wrong but it seems that some files which the X server checks up
while loading are either missing or do not have the correct permissions to
be opened.
You must have had some problems while installing the X packages....U could
check those I guess....Or try copying a working
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/xkbcomp from some other X installation.
Maybe this helps.
