Yes u can pop mails from multiple email accounts to ur account on a linux machine 
comfortably using procmail .. Procamail polls all the pop servers mentioned in the 
.procmailrc file at regular intervals.. If new mails are present on the machine they 
are transferred to ur local account using a simple SMTP connection /..
Procmail is very easy to configure .. Run procmailconfig in ur x windows ..
The novice configuration is easy enough for anyone to follow .. For more details look 
into the man pages .. (I didnt need to search the man pages)
