In IEEE Software Nov/Dec '99 there is an article by one Sridhar AnandaKrishnan, titled: ``Penguins Everywhere: GNU/Linux in Antarctica'' It made an interesting reading, he describes how he used linux in the research project for collecting and analyzing lots of data in the south pole, the native land of tux.
