Hi all,
I am trying to configure my machine as a DNS. I have the following details:
1. The machine has a valid IP address on the LAN.
2. The machine does not have a valid hostname like www or something.
With this set up is it possible to configure DNS - I am trying to follow the
HOWTO for DNS and using my machine name (instead of ns.linux.bogus as used in
the HOWTO) and the things are not really working out. Since I do not have a
valid hostaname so can I use any name like ns.pankaj.names for the NS. Will it
work??
TIA
Pankaj Mathur
