hi, i have installed jdk1.2 on linux. the programs concerned with applets gets compiled by "javac <filename>" but on giving "appletviewer <>" it says command appletviewer not found.even though the command is present in the bin directory and is a link to a hidden file ".java_wrapper". the permission is for all. the same on installing on another PC runs perfectly fine. any idea?
