I am mandrake user, now i like to install debian 2.1, always i  use
booting from CDROM. I do it with Debian.
for your information, I have creative 48X CDROM drive. I make partition
like this :-
for  / --- 450M
swap ---- 128M
/var ----- 500M
/usr ---- 1500M
after finish my partition, i proceed and debian want to install :
next-- install kernel and modules [ something like this]
I press enter and deb ask me from where i like to install , i choose
CDROM. deb ask to select :
i select  /dev/hdc----IDE
but  deb said no CDROM  drive found.
why ?
Please suggest what i will do ?

I have two CD of debian. contents :--
(1) README.1st, README.CD-manufactures,
README.mirrors.html,README.mirrors.txt, README.muticd
      README.non-us, README.pgp, Release-notes, boot, debian, dists,
doc, extras, md5sums.txt

and another CD have all aboves and plus below:--
(2)
install, tools, upgrade-2.0.i386
upgrade-older-i386

which CD's I use for install, because I'm complete new in debian .
please suggest debian user's.
I collect this CD's from one of my friend but he is not debian user's.
