Hai,

We need to setup an intranet for Knowledge Management System (such as
'Sparsh' at Infosys, though maybe not on such a large scale) at a hospital
run by a charity trust here in Chennai. The system needs to be designed to
provide information on any patient (ie..case sheets) to any doctor logged on
to the network. Besides this basic requirement, a knowledge base on
procedure of treatment for various symptoms and their success rate, an
e-mail/paging facility, etc needs to be made accessible to the doctors
logged on to the network. Being a charity trust money is obviously in short
supply and therefore we are not in favour of proprietary software. Though I
am an Electrical Engineer by training, I know nothing about networking and
therefore I need to know whether such Knowledge Management Systems are
available in Linux. Is anybody interested in working for it? Can't promise
you a five digit salary though.

Vilas Kumar
