For those of you who will be in San Jose for the upcoming LinuxWorldExpo
(next week), here's a short note of what I'll be showing/doing during
for the Linux/IrDA session:
1. Presentation of what is IrDA, Linux/IrDA, and what you can do to help
with it.
2. short discussion of how to configure Linux/IrDA
3. attempt to get more people interested in using Linux/IrDA
4. demo of:
a) Linux 2.3.12 w/2.3.9 patches.
a) Nokia nm207 phone (IrMC/IrCOMM phone)
b) Clarinet Irswitch (Irlan)
c) Casio IrTranp camera (no Irtranp software though..)
d) Palm III OBEX/Hotsync
e) Possibly Linux to Linux demo.
Last, I'll be showing some Linux/IrDA socket stuff, if time permits.
I'll also have some dongles there (ESI & tekram 210), so if you wonder
what they look like, you can come on by and ooh and ahh at them.
I will be putting the presentation up on the web after this; I'll post a
URL late next week or the week after.
If you are attending, and want to talk or have questions about
Linux/IrDA, come on over! Or, at least, spread the word!
