Just a quick success report: Using the following combination
ppp-connection works:
- Linux 2.2.11 + toshoboe 1.9 patch + pcmcia floppy 2.2 patch
- Toshiba Libretto 100 (japanese version)
- pppd (to get this work I had to add 5sec delay before sending
ATZ, as toshoboe is quite slow in changing transfer-rate)
- Siemens S25 phone (using IrCOMM)
Also dip and minicom works. Suspend works just fine, and
discovery seem to work. I did not try PalmIII with this
combination, but it worked with 2.2.10+irda patch 2
(toshoboe 1.5).

BTW: Why toshoboe 1.9 patch is not in 2.2.11 ? It should
be included asap, as the current 1.5 hangs the kernel in
suspend/resume.
